Children came from far and wide to school with mountains of cakes, muffins, biscuits and other sugary delights. Desks were placed in a cirlce to allow for easy access of running students to get thier fill of fudge, brownies, muffins and other such 'occasional' foods. I must admit the shocking truth, I even saw Watermelon on a stick and toffee apples for a healthy choice!
We had a scare looking up at the clouds, wondering if there would be a sudden down pour. Luckily, much to the excitment of PHS we all managed to stay dry, infact by 11am you would've never guessed it was even tempting to rain earlier.
Totals have been calculated and $460 was raised in just one morning! The only thing bigger than the amount raised was the smiles on the faces of the students as they left the cake stalls.
A big thank you to all the parents for the donations, cakes, and time to help create an amazing fund raising event. It was only a huge success because of all the assistance of parents, teachers and well mannered PHS students.
Mr Warn thoroughly enjoyed himself, so thank you for the opportunity to be involved in your fantasticly well bee-haved school event.
Below are some photos taken by students showing just how successful the morning was.
